Michele Marie Maria Bennett, known as Michele or Shelly, is a versatile and driven volleyball player who shines as a defensive specialist or libero. With experience playing every position, Michele excels in serving and hitting, continually working to enhance her skills.

Starting with recreational volleyball in 4th and 5th grade and later joining a junior varsity team in 10th grade, Michele brings a blend of experience and enthusiasm to the court. She is dedicated to improving her defense, hitting, and serving, actively honing these skills alongside her team activities.

Michele's achievements include winning first place medals during her recreational volleyball days, showcasing her early talent and dedication. Her personal goals are to play consistently at a high level, improve her defensive skills, and sharpen her game reading abilities. Team goals focus on unity, growth, and building strong connections both on and off the court.

On the court, Michele is a hands-on teammate, calling her balls, acknowledging mistakes, and uplifting her teammates. She fosters a positive team dynamic and keeps the momentum high, even in slower-paced games.

Outside of team practices, Michele engages in home training with a parent, focusing on defense, plyometrics, and strength training. Her love for volleyball stems from the thrill of performing well with others, driving her motivation to continually improve and compete at a higher level.

Michele envisions playing volleyball at the collegiate level, although she hasn't decided on a favorite college yet. Beyond volleyball, she aspires to pursue a career as an architect, engineer, or architectural engineer, showcasing her diverse interests and ambitions beyond the sport.
