Abigail Johnson, known to her teammates as Abby, is a versatile volleyball player who excels in multiple positions including Outside Hitter, Middle Blocker, and her preferred position, Right Side Hitter. Abby's volleyball journey began with a year in recreational leagues, followed by two years of competitive play with the KC East Lions, and two years of club volleyball. Entering her fourth year in the sport, Abby has honed her skills significantly.

Her strengths lie in her powerful hitting, effective blocking, and ability to play the net, all while maintaining a positive and uplifting presence on the team. Abby's enthusiasm and encouragement both on and off the court help foster a cohesive team environment. However, she acknowledges that she needs to improve her setting and passing skills.

Abby is dedicated to her personal growth and has set specific goals for this season, including mastering the jump serve and enhancing her ability to work seamlessly with her teammates. Outside of team practices, she engages in strength training to boost her performance on the court.

Her love for volleyball stems from the thrill of competition and the camaraderie she shares with her teammates. Although Abby does not aspire to play volleyball at the collegiate level, her passion for the sport and commitment to continuous improvement drive her to compete at her best.
